How we do it.
Ethical sourcing
We work directly with small-scale artisan communities in the Indian Himalayas. Our supply chain has no intermediaries — which means better quality control and fair, direct returns for the people who make DashBoo.
Free-range yaks
Our yaks roam freely at altitudes above 4,000 metres on natural, unimproved pasture. No factory farming, no intensive practices, no growth hormones. The animals live as they have for thousands of years.
Minimal processing
DashBoo is made using the same traditional method that has been used in the Himalayas for centuries. No industrial processing, no chemical treatments, no high-temperature extrusion. Just milk, lime, salt, and time.
Responsible packaging
We use minimal, recyclable packaging. Our outer cartons are made from FSC-certified card. We are actively working to reduce our packaging footprint further and move towards fully compostable materials.
Community investment
A portion of every DashBoo sale goes back to the artisan communities in the Himalayas. We are committed to long-term partnerships — not one-off transactions — with the people who make our product possible.
UK-based operations
IBU Pet Foods is headquartered in Harrow, Greater London. Our UK operations — warehousing, distribution, customer service — are all based in Britain, supporting local employment and reducing our logistics footprint.
